I like these better than expected. I thought it might be shiny Chintz, but it is a cotton weave that resembles linen. The fabric is a substantial weight, with a thin cotton lining. The colors are more brilliant in person. Only wish the lining was more of a blackout, but it would probably make them too heavy. Can’t wait to hang - very pleased!. Barbara. These are very nice curtains - heavy and drap well. The print is slightly lighter than what is pictured which is why the minus star. These are absolutely beautiful, well-made curtains. The colors and pattern are well done and not overstated. I typically need to iron new curtains because they come in with creases from being folded in the package. However, with these, they were hangable right out of the box. Very high-quality. The fabric is beautiful, and looks as if it was made to go with our new wool and silk rug. I needed to make a pocket for the curtain rod because they were a little too long.
