Rosenthal
Maria gets a new look. For the first time in its more than 100-year history, Rosenthal's successful collection is now available in a contemporary version called "Maria en Vogue" with colored glazes. The delicate pastel colors emphasize the romantic vintage touch of the shape. The triumph of the "Maria" shape began in 1916. The service was named after the wife of the company founder Philipp Rosenthal, who married 35-year-younger Maria in 1916. "Maria" stands for porcelain history and table culture. Presumably created as a replica of a silver tea service, this polygonal dinnerware shape with the characteristic edge relief in the form of a fruit garland became the most extensive Rosenthal service. In 1939, there were already more than 170 different items, from bone dishes to knife banks and decorative corks. Even today, more than 70 different individual pieces are available. Some love stories are so beautiful that they are hard to believe. Like the one between Philipp Rosenthal and his wife Maria. It so happens that the privy councilor was so infatuated with her that he quickly named a porcelain set after her – without knowing that it would one day become a best-seller, selling millions of copies. To this day Maria remains one of the most extensive tableware collections with around 100 pieces. Its classic form and the elegant fruit relief around the rim make it a stand-out collection. "Maria" is a classic service that has already become a legend. For generations, it was the porcelain of choice at weddings and other celebrations. The model for its characteristic shape was a silver teapot dating back to around 1815, which company founder Philipp Rosenthal brought back from England and had remade in porcelain in honor of his wife, the French Countess Maria de Bourges. Timelessly beautiful and gracious - the Rosenthal classic Maria from 1916 is still a dazzling style icon in 2023. Dream draws on influences from fashion and the elegant interiors of the past, and highlights the famous relief of pomegranates and olive branches for a stylish mix of colors.
Coffee Cup with Saucer XLI Bode Inspiratório. From contemporary to traditional, in different materials and with the most diverse decorations - of a purely aesthetic character or with more functional features, Vista Alegre proposes a range of decorative items for an inspiring environment, full of creativity and refinement.
Coffee Cup with Saucer XVII Bode Inspiratório. In March 2020, faced with confinement that was unheard of, we had to look at the world in a different way. In this profound slowdown, we also had to face ourselves. Creativity was then, as it still is, the best way to process and express this strange change. And so the project “Escape Goat” was born. Accepting the challenge launched by the journalist Ana Margarida de Carvalho, 46 authors wrote 46 chapters of a digital book, published online, and 46 visual artists illustrated them, all over the course of… 46 days. Such images have now been reproduced in an original collection of Vista Alegre porcelain coffee cups. With imagination, humor, and sensitivity, the written and drawn stories of “Escape Goat” look into us and into everyone's world, suddenly turned upside down. With this goat, we hope to kick sadness to the curb, and awake joy, inside and outside our windows.
I purchased this as a gift for a friend. She loved it! It's edgy and cool...just like her. It was to remind her every morning as she sips her espresso, what a wonderful friendship we share.. Kimberly. Charleston, WV. 2024-09-20 18:31:59

Coffee cups with saucers, 7 oz., set of 2 are functional for every occasion. Make the coffee twice as tasty with this set of 2. The coffee cup and saucer have what it takes to become a favorite accessory for coffee lovers. Beautifully shaped yet humble enough to act as a discreet backdrop to the perfectly arranged meal. The new tableware collection was designed by Floz Design in Germany. Stoneware pieces include bowls, plates, mugs, and serve ware. Outside of stoneware is matte. The inside serving area is glazed for design compliment and easy cleaning. Stoneware is manufactured from clay, quartz, and minerals such as calcite and is defined as a ceramic product. The stoneware is molded at very high temperatures using casting techniques. The high temperatures during the firing process make stoneware more stable than clay and less translucent than porcelain. Due to the heating and glazing processes of stoneware, these pieces may have slightly different attributes which can add to their beauty and uniqueness.
Eating together, having a good time, and celebrating life – the Junto design innovatively and playfully brings together people and their love of good food from all over the world. A subtle fusion of fine porcelain, sumptuous ceramics, and warm wood enables all manner of combinations for any cuisine. The fine porcelain features a delicate diamond relief. To provide an appropriate contrast to the fine porcelain, the collection also offers the major pieces as vibrant, earthy stoneware with a special reactive glaze.
