As gorgeous as the bed is, bear in mind that it would be near impossible to assemble this piece with a single set of hands. The building process was fraught with missing hardware, replaced at my own expense. Additionally, the split cover does not reach all the way around the base of the bed, so the felt underneath peaks out where the slipcover should meet the headboard. I’m hoping that it will stretch out over time and the extra give will mean it reaches all the way. These flaws aside, however, the fabric quality is lovely and the storage space, once configured, is ample. For as expensive as the bed is, however, these setbacks were frustrating and seemingly could have been avoided had more care been taken in manufacturing the piece. . Doris Louisa.
