Plane of Existence 1 is a magnificent work of art on canvas. Displaying a mastery of composition, technique, and color theory, a figure-ground perspective is expertly established, allowing the viewer an appreciation of the separation of foreground and background. in the distance, a light gray sky is broken up by a darker palette of iron, ash, and gray. along the horizon, a sharp slate adds a sense of depth and dimension. "Drifting into the Abstract 1" is a mesmerizing work on canvas that recalls the soak-staining technique developed by American Abstractionist Helen Frankenthaler. The Artist, D’Alessandro Leon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the art institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting, and fine art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. Love the picture, and the companion we bought to go with it, but disappointed with the hanging hardware. There are 2 loops instead of a wire so you have to use 2 nails to hang a very small picture. I don't like having extra holes in my walls and this method is less forgiving if you are not perfectly aligned. For the price these items should have had a wire instead.. Juliet.
