I wanted two lamps for my sectional area. I wanted them dimmable (check), with a slender profile (check) and with a diffuser (got it). These lamps did all of the above. They beautifully fit behind my sofa and don't clutter the room visually. However, I wish I could dim them by simply touching them, or a switch on the side. Instead the dimmer switch is the box on the floor which I've tucked under the sofa base. So....first world concern here, of course. But a little design element I should have considered before. Because doing stuff in the dark can be hard. It's a lamp! No, it won't answer to the adorable pet name you give it or have witty replies to your inane requests (don't worry Alexa, you have job security) but it will fill your room with functional light and deliver it via a thoughtfully proportioned powder-coated steel design. Sure, it might be just a way to cancel out small parcels of darkness, but maybe, just maybe it could be a friend too.
The lamp is great except we ordered a touch lamp and received a floor dimmer lamp. We were told they will call us to confirm what they have available! Instead they send us a dimmer lamp without calling. Since they decided the sale was more important than customer service, i reduced my rating… if they had call as promised it would have been my decision to order the dimmer lamp not their decision..
