Inspired by Bauhaus textiles and debuting 100 years after the legendary design school was founded, Heddle explores the interaction of weaving and color. Areas of more graphic, floating yarns are juxtaposed with flat-woven fields of subtle stripes. Heddle is named for an integral element of the loom on which it was developed. On a loom, each warp yarn is threaded through the eye of a heddle: similar to threading a sewing needle. Lifting and lowering the heddles in deliberate sequences creates different weave structures.

While based on traditional dobby constructions, Mosaic is woven using a more complex Jacquard construction, leading to completely new and unexpected designs. The pattern evokes a Nordic design sensibility which feels both warm and cool at the same time. Mosaic uses signature bi-color yarns, with each strand containing two different colors. These specific yarns are woven in such a unique way that one of the colors seems to appear and disappear, breaking up the distinct diamond pattern.
