This distinctive piece has antique bronze metal ferrules on the feet, tapered legs, carved accents, and an inlay border on the top. Crafted of cherry veneers with walnut inlay, it is finished in maraschino cherry using natural grain cherry veneers showcasing cathedral patterns in the wood with the selective inclusion of naturally occurring knots to deliver a rich warm cherry finish and a smooth sophisticated aesthetic.
Inspired by the tropical craftsmanship of the West Indies and classic British and Dutch Colonial design periods, the Charleston rectangle coffee table has bamboo-designed accents. Crafted of maple veneers and resin, it is finished in a soft color that can be found on the ceilings of porches and entryways, window shutters, and doors in the American South, dating back more than 200 years from the Gullah folklore that held the color kept “haints” or spirits from entering homes and dwellings.

I searched high & low for just the right table to put in my new home. Since I have dark wood built-in cabinets on either side of the fireplace, I didn’t want anything wood. And since I tend to move my coffee table around a lot, glass would get prints all over. My front door is iron and my floors are travertine so I knew an iron base with stone top would be perfect. I saw several tables on several sites but this one stole my heart. Perfect color, perfect size (albeit, rather heavy!) and just the right style. It looks exactly like the pictures and top quality.
