In the latest capsule collection, Annie's friend and collaborator Bunny Williams was inspired by the unique geometric Kuba weaving of central Africa. The sacred Kuba designs are mathematical and rhythmic in vegetable-dyed earth tones and evolved from a number of techniques featuring flat weaving and cut pile, with patchwork, embroidery, and appliqué. The Cassia dhurrie weave rug has a balanced block motif woven onto alternating rectangles. Hard-working jute fiber is sophisticated and practical, especially for high-traffic areas.

The Cassia Mirror is an elongated quatrefoil, which is a classic design motif in European and Arabic cultures. The design deploys very sophisticated mixed materials by using the beveled antique mirror to trace the quatrefoil, which is finished by a slender gold leaf outline. These sit atop clear glass for dimension and interest.

Alexander NikAnpour is a contemporary visual artist living in Northern California. After graduating with a Masters of Fine Arts in communications design from the HDK University in Gothenburg, Sweden he went on to study environmental design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Furthering his education, he graduated with a Masters of Fine Arts, interior architecture, and furniture design from Konstfack, University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, in Stockholm, Sweden. He has participated in many groups and solo art exhibitions in New York, Sweden, Denmark, and Shanghai.
