In 1948 Brown Jordan founder Robert Brown partnered with designer Walter Lamb to produce a collection that ingeniously repurposed bronze and brass piping and cotton rope salvaged from the sunken ships of Pearl Harbor. Celebrated for its graceful, free-flowing curves, the Walter Lamb Bronze collection became an icon of mid-century modern design. It still is today. In 2019, the collection was reimagined and reissued in modern, long-lasting materials, like aluminum frame and polypropylene rope.
