The Artist, Bella Lane, was born and raised in Daegu, Korea, and studied Fine Art and Modern Art at Kyungpook National University with a special interest in Oriental painting. Art manifests itself in several ways for Bella. As a way of expressing emotions, she records events in her life through drawings and paintings. Her inspiration comes from her travels.
I was born in the Foothills of California, a small town called Tuolumne, fairly close to Yosemite National Park. I studied textile design and oil painting. I studied at a local community college back home and at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise. Art has a lot of meaning for me. It’s a way of communicating, expressing myself, and connecting myself to my thoughts and others. I find inspiration mainly from nature and emotions. I like to use all mediums, but my favorites are oil, acrylic, and watercolor. I enjoy being outdoors, playing music, painting, singing, writing, and being with friends.

The artist layers watercolor to create a richness in color and add movement to an otherwise static piece. The color perfectly mimics the variation found in the fur of dogs and adds an abstracted touch to an otherwise traditional still life study.
The artist, David Brown, studied and received his Fine Arts training at California State University of Long Beach and graduated with a BFA in Drawing and Painting in 2018. As a child, he watched his older brother draw and recalls wanting to draw just like him when he grew up. David currently lives in Long Beach, California, and has been lucky to show his work in multiple group shows and a few solo shows, mostly based in the Los Angeles area. His traditional work includes oil, charcoal, and graphite. He is strongly influenced by Renaissance, Baroque, and a lot of today's contemporary work. Davids's work is predominately focused on the human figure. People are my inspiration. I love learning people's stories and trying to capture the sitter narrative through my drawings/ paintings I love drawing people from life, I feel that my work focuses on the relationship between artist and model. His art is his one true passion and he believes that artists are super sensitive and emotional human beings, our work is a physical representation of our thoughts and emotions, a diary that we choose to share with the world.
