Artist Commentary: I headed down to the beach with my headphones, excited to listen to a shuffle mix of my favorite singer/songwriters, John Hiatt, John Mayer, John Mellencamp and Elton John. It’s my “Johns” mix that I absolutely love. However, when I got to the waters edge, I took out my earbuds and was mesmerized by the music of the waves. I walked for miles just listening to the waves and watching the sky unfold. Nature won my attention this day.
