We expected a very high quality time piece. The instructions are poorly written: Step 2 says to remove shipping materials, Then at the very bottom, it tells you NOT to remove the packing material associated with the yoke and pulley. OOPS. The Westminster chimes are ever so slightly discordant. Instead of the regal sounds of well made Westminster Chimes, they sound like a xylophone from a low end street vendor. The cabinet is not a high quality piece. I appears to have been made, and finished, by a group of untrained workers. For two thousand dollars we expected a quality timepiece - not what we received.. I like the clock... however, at least three things do not work well for us: 1) The tiny little indentation on the clock mechanism makes it impossible to hang a hook. We have put picture wire on each edge to hang it safely from a wall hook. But, because it is a heavy clock, it does not sit flush with the wall. 2) The glass is very reflective. I have to be quite careful about the angle at which I read the time. 3) I looked through your clock choices and this was the best one available in a relatively plain analog style.
