This handcrafted Armenian Horizon rug was made in Armenia with 100% wool with a weave similar to the Iranian Gabbeh. The vibrant colors used in this design are created using all-natural vegetable-based dyes. The design of this Horizon rug was crafted with the individual creativity of the weavers who use their own inspirations for the design, making it a one-of-a-kind work of art. This pattern incorporates bold striations of color which are muted by adding a neutral orange color into each stripe of color. The edges of each color fade into each other instead of creating hard lines. The underlying colors include dark blue, mustard yellow, pale blue-black, and rust red. This rug measures 8'11" x 11'9".

And I had read it in a few reviews prior to buying this rug, was hoping they were wrong, but this rug is NOT as pictured. It’s noy even close to being as vibrant as shown. Muted colors and the “‘navy looks like black). Was disappointed. But it’s the holidays and didn’t want to pay for shipping them back. But they are very lovely rugs. But not what I was expecting or wanted. I love Perigold, but I do wish they would send a return item on rugs that are NOT alt all as shown.
