It is an exquisite rug and very well made. It lays flat almost immediately and is substantial and heavy (our 9x 12 is almost 90lbs). The only issue we had with the rug is the color, significantly lighter than the vendor pictures and some customer photos. It’s a medium- light blue with beige undertones vs the darker blue you see in the pics. There’s also some unevenness in the color distribution but that is in line with an artisanal wool rug..
