The chic detail of industrial X-braces takes the Pearce dining table from traditional to contemporary. The ends of the table are supported on two robust scrolled pedestals; the parquet top is pieced with cathedral elm veneers. The table seats up to twelve people with the addition of a leaf. The top of the Pearce dining table is finished in parch, a light open-grained finish; the base is in Cirrus, a neutral painted finish that has been rubbed and gently aged by hand.
Beautiful from every angle, the Mills Dining Side Chair back is inlaid with panels of cathedral elm veneer on the front and overlaid with carved wood filigree on the reverse. The neatly tailored seat is detailed with nail head trim; the tapered legs are corner carved and fluted. The generously scaled chambers bed, constructed of Parawood solids and cathedral elm veneers, has a curved pediment, deep molding, a carved heraldic shield cartouche, and carved corbels and acanthus leaf motifs. The broad footboard opens to reveal a cedar-lined storage chest.
This 9 Drawer Standard Dresser with ornate fretwork overlay, lamb’s tongue molding and bold carved acanthus leaf corbels on the front pilasters, this Dresser recalls the robust neo-classical architecture of the 18th century. The dresser is constructed of parawood solids and cathedral elm veneers.
The architecturally-inspired display stand is lit on the inside with its own charming chandelier, operated with a built-in touch button and reflected in a mirrored panel.
