Artist Commentary: As kids, we grew up hearing the phrase, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Maybe it does. Maybe it doesn't. But a big, red juicy apple is something to be enjoyed. So I decided to paint a giant red apple sitting on a cloud. Underneath, three children are gathered under an apple tree and a young girl is reaching for one of her own. As a print, this painting would look great in a child's room or a doctor's office! It is bright and cheery and almost seems as if it could be the cover of some children's book.

Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of me and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brought me to a state of pure joy.
