The clock is good and the color is good, too. I was hoping it would be slightly more cherry wood colored, and I was sad that it wasn't wood, but plastic. Super classy a.nd BIG! Surprisingly it only weighs 11 pounds, not too hard to hang above my new TV console. The pendulum swings and has its own battery which was a little difficult to insert but you just have to slide it straight in behind the pendulum. Positive/negative are marked, but I had to use a flashlight to see which way it went. I absolutely love the swinging pendulum, a nod to times past.
